Armenta Films was co-founded by Adam Belanger and David Lafontaine in 2019. Creative partners for over a decade, Belanger and Lafontaine began collaborating in independent theatre in Toronto, Ontario, producing dozens of plays to critical acclaim.

In 2022 Armenta produced its first film, “Rivals,” a short about the unique relationship between siblings, who are at once both opponents and best friends.

Currently Armenta is in post production for their inaugural feature film, ‘A Breed Apart,’ which was written and directed by Belanger and Lafontaine.
